Idk, there's a lot of colorism in Asian communities (and others, it's for sure not exclusive to them). It's extremely visible in the Asian beauty space, where there are usually like 3 shades of extremely light foundation and if you're darker, you can fuck off, I guess. Tons of "brightening" products (that are generally just bleach), too. It sucks.
Or Biden was likely to win the states trying to remove Trump from the ballot regardless, so they know this decision was always going to be more symbolic than anything.
Uh, is there some rampant Italian pedophile tourism I've never heard of? Because people keep implying it but I'd love more info without having to sift through what would undoubtedly be about a billion articles about the Catholic church.
I work in a passport office, and any time a guy comes in alone to apply and says he's going to the Philippines, without exception, he's exactly what you'd picture. Some have been pretty upfront about getting married while they're there (one guy showed me a picture and said, "look what I'm marrying," and I'm really proud for not screaming at his phrasing) and some try to keep it stealthy, but it's pretty obvious. We're not sending our best is all I can say.
I've never heard this and my friend group consists of a lot of single, middle aged women, but assuming it's true, I'm gonna assume those women are at least sleeping with adults, which cannot be said for every man going to those two countries.
I only like yellow onions in cooked things, I'll tolerate cooked white ones but I won't buy them myself. No raw onions ever. Red onions are only acceptable when pickled, but they can fuck right off otherwise.
I eat like your SO, though I do mix it up a little sometimes, but it's because I'm saving my favorite thing for last. I don't want to end up with my least favorite thing at the very end.
I think it's one of the few shows I've ever watched with genuine character growth. A ton of shows will have a character grow and then walk it back, or don't even bother. Schitt's Creek didn't turn them into Mary Sues - they're still flawed but they also learn how to look outside their bubble.
If it's not clicking for you after season 3, it may not be the show for you. A lot of people didn't love the first season as it found its footing, but everyone I know that loved it was fully invested in season 2.
They don't see mental gymnastics as a problem in my experience. They make all these rules for how everyone should live and then naturally it sucks if you actually comply 100%, so they find ways to make the things they want ok (usually only for them though). They want babies, so actually it's totally fine to dispose of unused embryos. See also: modesty standards, gender roles, social programs, and so on.
I mean, is it permanent or do I have a plan for getting back to now? If it's permanent, the gun and bullets because fuuuuck that. I'm not living in medieval times as a woman. Even if pretty much all of history wasn't a horror show for women, I have like, zero useful skills and I'm pretty sure I'd only understand about half of what people were saying because Old and Middle English were a total suckfest (and that's if I didn't end up somewhere they spoke fucking French or some shit).
If I'm just there for tourism, none of it. I'm not trying to get burned for witchcraft while I'm sightseeing.
Have you ever seen those animations that show how certain surgeries are done? That's what I thought was happening here. Like this is the stage where a tumor is cut but not removed or some shit. Jesus, Microsoft.
I'm in the US and work for the government (and have worked at all levels but federal), so I just go straight to neighboring city/county/state websites. Those positions end up on other job sites a lot of the time, but not reliably and you can't apply there, so no reason to bother.
When I was looking for a PT job to help pay off student loans, I started with Indeed and the like, but there's so much trash on there that it wasn't really worth bothering. I ended up thinking of a few places I could stand to work and again going right to their sites. I don't know wtf I would've done if I'd been a little more desperate and/or worked primarily in the private sector. Seems like a nightmare.
He was 17. IIRC, it would've still been illegal for him to have sex with her if she was 14 or younger, so they were very careful to specify that she was "over 14."
Hey guys, be fair. Maybe he was just stealing to support the baby he had with a child who was "over 14, so it wasn't statutory rape, we totally swear.'
Uh, no. People have to apply for passports in person in many cases. I work in an office that accepts those applications.
