I'm trapped in settler-hell, constantly profiled any time I leave the house, and am expected to be polite and cordial at all times to said settlers who pull this shit. Then I come online and have to deal with even more settler horseshit from people who're supposed to be my 'comrades'. Or at least, people who want me to see them that way when there is nothing shown nor proven regarding their works.
And there's always going to be that constant lurking worry in the back of my head that if I leave my home solo dolo, I might never come home if a settler pig decides he doesn't like the look of the phone in my hand, the cane keeping me balanced, or just the texture of my hair.
I genuinely despise this life. I don't know how to love the crucible the god that made me put me in. Even the fleeting moments of beauty carve another piece out of my heart because I have to remember it won't last, and as soon as that moment is over, the metaphorical, spirit-withering flames of the settler-hell in which I live will engulf me once again. I can't tell if it's meant to purge my impurities, or if it's just meant to render me useless slag anymore.
I wish I could trust that these STEMlord techbros were doing it for the right reasons. Which is to say I wish I could trust that the critical mass of specifically white Amerikan techbros weren't some of the most hideously racist specimens to ever walk the field. Every firm, shop, or what have you I've ever worked in, I've had to hear the most vile shit about H1B workers, the whole "i HaD tO tRaIn My RePlAcMeNt" bullshit that typically leads into a racist screed when said replacement wasn't another white Amerikan man; and honestly?
Ten years into the general field, and I still honestly believe they'd say/do the same shit about me, "movement" or no.
But they can be checked and balanced by other moderators unless it's a one mod/one admin system; in which case then it's just a personal fief. Where's the checks and/or balances for theftbox moderation?

Incorrect, for all the same reasons that facial recognition in 'AI' is unethical. All theftboxes adversarial networks are built by humans, most of whom in the 'AI' space come standard-equipped with built in racist biases. You see it all the time in facial recognition algorithms that couldn't tell the difference between a hundred Black people if you ran 'em all side by side. The same thing would happen with AI moderators; they will more likely than not moderate to right-wing white sensibilities, over-target and powertrip on ethnic minorities, and only really contribute to the general 'apartheid-supporter' vibe that most of the western internet has.

The proliferators of theftbox technology and everyone who ups it/demands it for my career's advancement deserves to get put on an upturned pike, chest-first. To me it's like being a battle rapper: like a battle rapper better not EVER be relying on ghostwriters for their bars, if you need CoPilot to code, you don't deserve to call yourself a programmer; and I was an artist first-- so I don't see any of this LLM bullshit as anything more than tricknology that robbed me and everybody I consider my actual peers (which is to say, not the theftbox touchers).
I'd rather see a journeyman programmer cracking open the books they taught themselves out of than see them turning to CoPilot.
I mean, if you advocate for Amerikans, that's exactly what you're advocating for.
