I'm with you as much as I know how. I love plenty about Canada but I also don't pretend that we have a clean conscience with our history and don't generally feel like we should blindly celebrate without acknowledging the problems. In that way and because of the convoy losers the flag has become a bit of a badge of ignorance. But as long as people are trying to be aware then there should also be a time to relax and unwind.
my point has nothing to do with her ridiculous responses. you said the meme was plain, as if it makes sense or is easy to understand. as a meme it is crap and does not. the mom was daft but it's not like the meme actually makes any sense.
I still don't know what you're suggesting. are purple aliens known to take chargers unnecessarily? I get that her responses are strange (possibly fake) but my point is that the meme sucks and doesn't make sense on its own to a lot of people, myself included. this scene in this movie franchise is not well understood enough to connect to the situation.
it would work if the average American wasn't such a weak minded ignoramus incapable of seeing the greater good, voting for their self interests or remembering further than the last month of their pathetic existence.
yes, we can deduce that someone is doing something and that is being compared to taking a phone charger when it isn't needed. but a solid meme references an image that has a humorous and well understood comparison to the topic. this just appears to be a guy using a robot arm device. I don't know how that comically references someone taking something that they don't need when they already have enough. does it?
how is it plain? what is he doing? what is on his arm? what does him fucking with his arm have to do with taking a charger when it is not needed? I have no idea and clearly plenty of other people also agree.
this scene is not common enough knowledge to reference that people know what's happening and that makes it a poor choice for the meme.
I consume plenty of memes and I still don't follow the point. far from quality when you have to know a detailed moment from a cookie cutter movie that many people don't care about.
the contentious point has never been that democrats should have run a better campaign. on that we all agree. the relevant issue has always been that not voting democrat would result in a worse outcome.
how come no one remembers that WE had a referendum for voting reform and WE voted it down? everyone keeps blaming the liberals when it was the dumb ass population who fucked that up.
you didn't read shit did you? these folks have the absolute right not to have to constantly argue to justify their existence. until the shit heels of society catch up then they damn right should be in a bubble that those of us who give a damn about human rights are more than willing to respect and protect.
