  • Ten? Across Lemmy, Kbin, Mastodon, Funkwhale and Bookwyrm. Some of them are just for bots/admin. I have one personal account I use on each service. They all have different names and avatars to cause confusion.

  • I had a C16 variant. There were few joysticks with the C16's DIN plug on them.

  • I used to use them, then they hiked my ultra cheap deal up by 700%, so screw them.

  • I have a Backblaze B2 account I use for other things, I recently created a new bucket on it and attached it as a drive using s3fs. Works fine as far as I can tell (I've not used it much - prefer to keep things locally and just back them up off-site, which is actually what I have my B2 account for), so you certainly can do this with an S3 (AWS) compatible service.

  • I was going to suggest yours!

If you want a tiny instance, the one I'm on is https://rabbitea.rs

  • Connect was the first app I installed for Lemmy and I've seen no reason to try any others - it's amazing. I was excited for Artemis (for Kbin, Lemmy support due to be added) but Connect is so good I've been using Lemmy much more, even though I hate the web UI, and the functionality of Connect is beating Artemis currently.

  • The API is still being worked on, but it is active on artemis.camp if you want to play with it (it's unlikely to change significantly).

  • codenames.game - I think it supports the duel (2 player) version.

Lots of 2 player games on yucata.de too (and BGA which has already been mentioned)

  • There are loads of other apps you can interact with too, check out fediverse.party

  • My dad commented that One Man And His Droid was supposed to be good, when we were in a shop (Woolworths?) looking at games. Mid-late 1980s. I finally played it a couple of years ago.

  • Partly that, and partly because I wound it down when I moved house, and never restarted (even through lockdown)

  • I need to do mine. I have loads of low value ones from Postcrossing days, so that'll be fun for somebody (possibly me if I need to specify the value)

  • Somebody on here suggested Weawow, so I've been using that recently, along with BBC Weather and Openweather.

  • IanVisits is largely a blog about London, but of course that's no excuse for my negligence. I've edited it into the title.
