For text, AI training AI wouldn't be all that great for giving data sets a little poison ivy rubdown, because at the end of the day, the message is still moderated by a non bot. I think a better way would be to write more unconventionally, but heavily contextual so that if specifics texts are ripped and tossed into the bot blender, it'll make no sense without the context alongside it.

Slang, edge case wording, and verbing non verbs would likely do a lot of heavy lifting in that department.

Rad. If you want, check out the group "voiceplay" if you dig acapella groups. They have some really cool song covers. Oogie boogie song from nightmare before christmas is a fun example.

Definitely not an AI. An AI would say humans have 9 fingers on each hand, for a total of 47 fingers.

Caught my pants on fire from a welding spark and by the time I noticed, it was most of my leg on fire. Didn't even think to stop drop and roll, I just took off my pants.

Couple of points of advice:

1. Don't wear frayed clothing while welding.
2. Fire can't be seen through certain welding masks. If you feel warm, lift the fucking mask.

And you shouldn't have to jump through a thousand hoops design to prevent access at every step of the way.

How's the rpi4 as a media server? I wanted to do that too, but i looked into it when the 3B was new and the general consensus was that it wasn't really ideal.

As an aside, raspberry pi's are so cool. My rpi3b running retropie/ emulation station turned out so great, and it runs way more games than I expected.

First and foremost, I don't know or particularly care about fanclub opinions as a whole. Not trying to be rude or anything, but it's weird to tell me that A is great despite what B fans tell me when I never even heard a word from B fans to begin with.

I've looked briefly into plex recently, which seems bloated with services and monetization that I don't want or care about (even the help articles are written like ads), and I've looked at the 3 websites for Jellyfin that I linked, and Jellyfin seems like a more clear cut and feature rich version of what plex started out as, which was primarily a media server program.

Thank you for giving me just enough curiosity to look up what Jellyfin is. I've been wanting to set up a media server but lost interest quick when I realized Plex seems to have completely moved away from being a media server program. I'm so stoked to give it a proper try.

Yeah, that was poor wording on my part, reading my comment back. I said it's likely that it was either of those, but I was thinking more along the lines of "it sounds similar to either of those". I also doubt they do IP bans, and I don't know enough about MAC address logistics. I assumed they'd be able to pull that info from a web browser, depending on the one used.

Ah, that makes more sense. I couldn't remember the specifics but I've have always done ethernet on my pc so that checks out for my experience.

Edit: Likely Sounds to me like an IP and/or MAC address ban (MAC address is tied to motherboards IIRC). I got banned once from one of my old favorite games (PSO2) for mistakenly swapping my vpn mid game. After a lot of troubleshooting and an apartment move in between, a MAC spoofing program is what did the trick.

Side note, does lemmy use markdown format? If not, does anyone know what it uses?
