  • Okay but how do you create billions of diverse native species in South Dakota and ship them across the entire nation while they're all actively hostile to each other?

You would need to create competitive local pollinator markets in every state or risk creating a famine by banning Honeybees.

Like it or not, nature cannot handle Humans in the numbers we currently exist in and Honeybees are a part of our food chain to sustain those numbers.

  • I think it's accurate. The article points out that Varroa Mites have become resistant to all known chemical pesticides used to control them previously. So if A) Bees develope resistance tot he virus spread by the Mites or B) humans develop new mite control solutions, then there won't be a death spiral.

  • In case anybody was wondering, the honeybee declines in China and Europe are also substantial and worrisome. I haven't heard about Africa but I think it's safe to assume when there's missing data for a global problem that it's affecting them, too.

  • Trump cannot be controlled, everything is purely transactional with him. The moment he gains more from taking businesses by force, thats what he will do.

Trust and deals have no meaning to him. This is a theif without honor.

  • FR, the lines on the top machine get hooked up to a metering pump whose intakes are

    A. Bag of "Soda" syrup which comes in a box

    B. Air Tank of Carbonation

    C. Water

The outlet hoses themselves are transparent so a lot of serious issues would be noticed and rectified, but in general stores don't implement proper protocol to clean or change them out regularly. There is actually a couple of bacterial strains found almost exclusively in the lines, I've had the priviledge to examine them in person. They're rarely very harmful but it's kind of neat.

The actual machine people see usually only houses the refrigeration unit with the pumps and bags and tank on the other side of a wall or hidden under a counter.

  • Honestly I don't see it as the developers losing anything. They still make the same products, they still sell the same products, and when they're done with those products forever they have to give hosting capability up to the public.

What are they afraid of? That we won't play their new games if they can't shut the old games down?
