Absurdist humor. It's not for everyone.

"murder is wrong" is a moral absolute if you adopt the deontological viewpoint. It's not if you adopt the teleological approach. Discussing these things is literally what I learnt in the very short Ethics course I had in third year uni (while in France that sort of stuff was much much earlier during Philosophy class...)

Edit : and to be clear, I think absolute opinions are the province of the philosopher and the fanatic. Real life tends to be a bit more messy. But that's why it's important to sort of know what the options are and how difficult the choices can be (again, for real human beings who struggle with dilemmas ; fanatics tend to eachew all that and I'd say that's how you can spot them).

We've had the papers to send our kids to the private school for a month on the table. The school the wife wants. After a month she's like "can you fill them papers". Took me a few minutes and I've now been looking for the one missing paper for a week. I'll do it for sure tomorrow!

Flying a helo over the jungles of Vietnam dodging rockets while my mate was gunning anything in sight in the back and fixing our flying piece of junk in between fights... That one time I was driving an artillery tank and an enemy was driving away with the flag in a jeep. No way to catch up, but I managed to barrage his ass to oblivion from across the map... Bad Company 2 was the last time I played. Before they got acquired by EA. Fuck EA.

We keep telling them Always online is stupid, but do they listen?
