  • I don't understand why the media isn't focusing more on United airlines maintenance issues, and still hammering on Boeing. I mean, Boeing deserves all the criticism, but a lot of the Boeing plane issues in the news recently are all old ones flown by United.

  • The medieval period to me would be like in Game of Thrones or DnD settings, where automation tech was still hydraulic based at best, and medical knowledge was still very very limited.

1700s had steam engines and electricity, and apparently lithography was invented in the 1790s, so that's a big difference.

  • Sure lol. I harness the power of the sun and lightning to make special stones that other people can command it to make it work for them.
    Basically creating a golem haha.

  • Tax breaks. Woohoo!

How this shitty legal manoeuvre is even allowed is so infuriating.

  • I didn't grow up with Dragon ball, frankly not a big fan of the art style either, but I recognize the importance he and his work brought to the manga and anime industry. Rest in peace, legend.

  • From the top comment under the article, a former dev at Adult Swim games reached out to WB to request their game to be transferred to them, and WB declined their request.

I'm just baffled. First, those games are finished, not in development. What is the cost of leaving a game up for sale in a digital store that has no need for inventory management? Second, what is the reason for not agreeing to transfer the ownership to its original creators, and rather let it die?

This, and the recent announcement of the closure of RoosterTeeth, what other idiotic decisions are they going to make to screw over their fans?

Edit: Jesus, they pulled Westworld off HBO max as well? For tax breaks?

  • They kind of have to, otherwise it would be an Airbus monopoly, and there are plenty of planes they still need to deliver to customers. Management needs a total reshuffle for sure though.

  • Fortnine is a channel whose videos I would watch instantly. You don't need to own a bike to appreciate the quality of the videos Ryan and his team produces.

  • It's still more viable in regions where people don't have personal garages, and their apartment parking lot doesn't support retrofitting charging stands.

  • I know I'm going to get so lost in there 😭
Sorry Zelda, you're going to have to wait even longer for me to find you.

Should I go there now? Or is it fine after I finish Gerudo?
    ::: spoiler Potential spoiler question
I'm thinking I should at least complete all the surface towers and a few shrines, so I know where to find lightroots and not be completely lost.

  • Cleared 3 regional phenomenas so far, Gerudo is next.
I'm glad I did Rito first. Not only is it my favorite town (along with Tarrey Town), but the reward you get for clearing it is also super useful.

Not really confident enough to begin exploring the depths yet. Once I lighted up a few spots, I realized how enormous it is and decided that getting sidetracked on the surface and sky is enough for now, lol. Maybe once I cleared Gerudo I would start exploring there, at least for the Robbie quest.

  • I see. I still don't think it's cause for concern yet, but good to know. Thanks!

  • Which I don't think has anything to do with GenAI. Though, I admit I'm not well educated in ear scanning and 3D audio reconstruction, so good sources are appreciated.

  • How personally identifiable is your ear though? It's not connected to your thoughts, you can't use it to determine your age height and weight, which ad company would need that data? IMO, it's no different than sending a mold of your ear tube to a CIEM company to get your custom molded earphones.

  • Wrong chat dude. What does that have to do with AI anyways?

  • Why? If you know how to incorporate "boilerplate" and modify it correctly into your own code, what difference does it make if its from ChatGPT or Stackoverflow?
