  • Also porn history is a really good clue to figuring out someone's sexuality and gender identity. And useful to conservatives for demonizing queer people as sexual deviants. I 100% believe this is an indirect way of harming queer people by outing them and their sexual interests.

  • Fun fact: Reddit is claiming it has full rights to distribute and sell any content posted to Reddit. So if you've ever posted to r/gonewild, they're claiming to have a full licence to do whatever they want with pictures of your naked body.

  • So you're making the argument that if I were a Florida teacher, I introduced myself as Mx Endocrinous, wore nonbinary and trans and gay flag pins, had an it/its pronoun pin, and referred to myself as dronegender, this would all be perfectly legal so long as I didn't explain what any of these words or symbols meant?

  • Been doing some googling. Most stars are dwarf stars, and the habitable band of a red dwarf is so close the tidal forces are way stronger. It might turn out that most habitable planets are tidally locked.

There's a book called The City In The Middle Of The Night that takes place on a tidally locked planet. It has politics, science fiction, and lesbians.

  • What about a planet so distant from its star that the day side gets as much light as earth at twilight? 2AU from a sol size star, there should be a quarter as much light during the day. What about there?

  • The initial conversation that he describes as "seeing transphobia" is actually him (a cis guy) arguing with a transfemme nonbinary person (me) about how to represent trans women and enbies. I'm astonished you say he has receipts, because the conversation got nuked by the admins and both accounts no longer exist. Here is what remains of the thread: https://startrek.website/comment/2191262. However, the feud over this one detail has continued to this day, as you saw in his rant. To explain the situation: He said 7/9 is a trans woman. I said I disagree, Janeway forcibly detransitioned it, and I, being dronegender, took it as a story of nonbinary struggle as I watched 7/9 cry that its gender-affirming traits were rotting off its body. He said no, drone isn't a gender identity, I'm faking being trans, I'm just a troll, and the borg are transphobic. I said come on, the crew even pressures 7/9 into romance despite it clearly being aromantic, because compulsory heterosexuality goes hand in hand with compulsory womanhood. We don't know if 7/9 was originally destined to be a drone, woman, or something else, but it was happy as a drone and Janeway used conversion therapy to take that away. At best, Janeway is on the same moral level of abuse as the borg, assimilating the unwilling. Stamets said no, Janeway is a trans ally and I'm transphobic for identifying with a story the wrong way.

Since I don't have hard proof of that original interaction because he got scared of the truth and deleted it (see how it says deleted by creator on his posts?), I'll show you him saying I was banned for being mentally ill: https://lemm.ee/post/20523475?scrollToComments=true (he later deleted it because he is afraid of the truth)

And here's a modlog of him banning me for being a "narcissistic psychopath" (psychopath is latin for "mentally ill person" and Stamets knows for a fact I have NPD and fully intends to attack me for it) https://lemmy.world/modlog?page=1&modId=3711996&userId=5155266

  • Actually, I'm impressed. By myself. I appear to have been the catalyst of the Star Trek community on Lemmy falling apart. And quite accidentally, I might add. Initially I expected the community to be universally trans friendly. But then I met Stamets. Good thing not everyone goes along with his divisive BS

  • No, he's definitely transphobic. He thinks forcibly transitioning a nonbinary person to female and pressuring them into compulsory heterosexuality is a good trans story. I didn't smell shit, I saw it. Also that doesn't even apply, I'm not complaining everyone's transphobic, just that one guy. Who no longer has an account on this instance. Because he's a dick.
