  • We’ve had this one on our radar for a little while now. We’ve pretty much got all our 0.19 compatibility stuff sorted, so we’ll look at scoping a lower-contrast dark mode into the next version since it seems like there’s demand for it

  • Sure, we can add that! 1.1.1 is in bugfix-only development at this point, but we'll be sure to include it in the next version.

In the meantime, our app does respect the system-wide 'increase contrast' accessibility option, which is a pretty aggressive workaround will make the instance name much more legible.

  • Interesting! I ran into that in the simulator during development, but couldn't reproduce it on-device so wrote it off as one of the many little simulator bugs. Thanks for the repro steps!

  • Yep, that is actually from the same change! Both should be fixed soon, we’re just testing the new build internally before we release it to TF.

  • That's not supposed to happen. I'm having some trouble reproducing on my device so a fix might take some time while we figure out how to cause this behavior, but I've opened an issue for it so it's definitely on the radar.

  • There's definitely not supposed to be--it feels like the error feedback, which would suggest a call is failing somewhere. I'll look into it, should be fixed in the next build.

  • Looks like a bug. Initial testing suggests that you can block users from comments, but not from posts right now. Nice find, thanks for letting us know! Should be fixed tomorrow.

  • It's on the issue board, but probably not going to enter development until we've realized our vision for the core functionality unless there's a lot of demand for it

  • Added to our issue board, thanks for the bug report!

  • We've got the fix almost through development, hoping to have it in TestFlight very soon. Thanks for your patience!

  • Hmm, that's a strange one. I can't replicate the behavior on our testing server, so my initial assumption would be that it's server-side behavior. Can you see negative comments via the desktop site?

  • Thanks for the update! I'm still struggling to reproduce the bug, but making good progress on tools to let users share more detailed debug info.

Do you happen to have two-factor authentication enabled?

  • There are a few reasons we switched, but the largest by far was the fact that artist who made our old logo just vanished and didn't leave us the original files for that logo, so iterating on it would first require a total reconstruction of those files. This one is made by one of our core contributors, Sjmarf, and we have the original files so we can adapt it and iterate on it even if he leaves the team.

  • Hmm, that's very odd. I've created an account on SDF and can log in without issue--I'm going to build a better bug report tool and ship it in the next beta build so we can maybe figure out what's going on here. Thank you for your patience!

  • Thanks for the report! I've sent a sign up request to them so hopefully I can troubleshoot this soon.

  • Hmm, that's odd. Do you happen to have a message from yourself somewhere in your inbox? Those can cause some very strange behavior around read status

  • Thanks for the bug report! We've got an update to make links easier to tap coming down the line, I'll be sure to fix this along with it

  • Interesting! I've opened an issue.
