  • Hadnt heard of this one so i did a search but anker games (dot) my is the first one that came up and looked sketchy, so i checked fmhy and they link to ankergames (dot) net, so i assume thats the reliable one just fyi.

  • CBT is not supposed to teach that your thoughts or feelings are 'wrong' just that they can be harmful or unhelpful, and give you strategies to move past them when thats the case. Thats what emotional regulation is, and what ideal parents would teach chldren. Its perfectly valid to have a negative emotion, but not all responses to it are appropriate, and there's no point in getting stuck on a negative emotion jist because it's 'valid' especially if that can be harmful to yourself or others. Its fine to feel sad or angry, but its not healthy to want to stay that way. Youre suplosed to recognize why you're sad and angry, take steps to fix it if you can, and move past it.

  • Archive.org has been operating for 30 years. You think your shitty little sarcasm is equivalent to an institution thats been around nearly as long as the internet, and yet has entirely resisted and avoided any of the enshittification thats infected literally everything else thats come after it? The internet archive is one of the last fundamentally good and public serving institutions and somehow you're licking the boots of record companies trying to capitalize on expired copyright claims. Reexamine your priorities and fuck off while youre at it, since your 'better idea' is clearly to just do nothing at all.

  • Well yeah, peobably got too cold for them to rot they were refridgerated all winter. Of course i dont know exactly where you live or what the weather is like but give it a couple months.

  • Yeah idk, i tried it wirh spec ops and hated it, but the aiming in that game felt weird no matter what, i disliked it with the touchpads too, and ended up just using the joystick which i barely ever do for anything that involves aiming. Ive heard Doom 2016 is a good one to try it out on so maybe ill try that, i just do like to have the steamdeck resting and pretty firmly planted on something when im playing to rest my arms.

  • I have a steamdeck and just could not get used to gyro, i hatdd jt so much. But the steamdeck is heavy and i usually have it resting on a pillow or something so i dont have to support the full weight. Also the screen moving whenever you move gyro bothered me a lot, i dont want to have to be moving my neck and arms around to play a game. I could see it being a lot better with just a controller and a screen in fixed position though, but i like to play games in handheld mode and i think itd be frustrating switching back and forth.

  • I found the opposite, it had very little grinding required. It does assume that you'll do most of the side quests, but i found that by doing all quests available at my level or under that i was always overleveled for the bosses. It does warn you that its intended to be difficult though, with an option to turn down the difficulty. I also found the side quests to be genuinely interesting and diverse, and not repetitive or grindy at all. Its a long game for sure, but i never spent any time just grinding. I ran past most monsters once i had cleared each area for the first time and they respawned.

  • People use usernames like they always have, and rely on reputation to distinguish themselves from the fakes? Senator ted ceuz makes an account called 'senatortedcruz' or if thats taken 'therealsenatortedcruz', and the mechanic makes one called 'tedcruzcars' or whatever. I dont see how your example is even relevant, because under a checkmark verification system both the mechanic ted cruz, and the senator ted cruz would be valid and deserving of a check mark, so there has to be some other way of distinguishing them anyway.

  • Holy fuck "viewpoint diversity" reads like the most dystopian thing I've ever seen. Basically boils down to 'you must also teach right wing beliefs even when they are near unanimously rejected by the scientific community'. If im reading that right it would mean they'd essentially have to have flat earth classes in the geography department alongside all the regular classes, and give them equal resources. Plus who knows what other bullshit. How do you draw a line when you're mandating thar schools teach fiction based on what your followers believe?

  • Imagine how fun it would be to rig up a luge sled with little rings to go over the railings. The hardest part would be designing brakes that would work effectively, but assumjng you could figure that out, (or i guess even if you couldnt) that first 6 seconds would be fun as hell.

  • I mean have you seen the slop the music industry is already putting out? Top 40 pop stars have been overproduced manufactured garbage for literal decades, what difference does it make if its one producer writing all the shitty samples and lyrics for 100 pop stars or if its AI. Real music will still exist and the true art will be confined to the fringes, as it already mostly is. Soulless music is soulless regardles of if its being made by a machine or a hack.
