Tie between the time I threw my back out changing the car tires and it hurt so bad to breathe I had to lie flat on the ground, and she was mad because it delayed me driving her to go do laundry.
Or the time she was mad about me installing the air conditioner in our apartment to cool down (the cats loved it too), because, "It doesn't benefit ME". That was shortly after I asked her to start paying for half of the utilities while I was unemployed. I had been paying them all myself for 3+ years, including the two times she was unemployed in that period.
A plastic stepping stool that is probably older than me. It holds a subwoofer off the ground so that the downstairs neighbours don't get thumped too hard (they have never complained).
I can share my anecdote about a girl I dated who had bipolar disorder. Take it with a grain of salt.
She was fine until she decided to get off her medication, and then things got chaotic. Sudden shifts from cheery to outraged about little things (not being included in a short conversation with my roommate about fishing), leaving in the middle of the night to walk home through a sketchy downtown area and convinced she would be fine. I worried for her safety and had to walk her home against her protest.
Then there were arguments about conversations that we never had. I don't know if that had anything to do with bipolar or something else.
From what I can tell the medication made a world of difference. If I knew better at the time I would have tried to convince her to get back on it.
Abusive relationships tend to be like that. Now you're free and can make up for lost time. There's too much good music/movies/food/video games/nature to enjoy to let it go to waste. DM if you ever need someone to chat about it with.
Hey, I recognize you from some of the memes you've posted and I appreciate them.
Can relate to most of what you have said in this thread and yeah... Understandable.
Still, there is more to life than other people. What about you, what you like and what you care about? Maybe now's a good time to be selfish and enjoy things just for you.
In comment sections or in community pages, it's mostly an ocean of default avatars.
When I joined it seemed like most people had an avatar. I have used this one for years, so why not?
I also like recognizing other Lemmings. Username is alright for that, but the image helps even more. It makes it feel like a small community from the internet of old (forums).
Fall. No allergies, cooler temperatures, the changing leaves, shorter days, and the coming of winter (2nd favourite). I don't do well in heat and I'm not very fond of the sun.
I just revisited their discography yesterday. They're not usually my favourite type of music, but they have something special going on. Nothing else hits the spot when I'm in a BOC mood which happens pretty often. The pitched vocal sample in Music is Math that goes "eeeeee-onnnnngh" just appears in my head randomly all the time, and same with the one that says "the past inside the present". They're masterful with their use of samples.
I recently came across this video of ixi listening to Geogaddi for the first time and breaking it down. It was a pleasure to see someone's first reaction and with such a depth of music knowledge. Worth a watch imo - https://youtu.be/rQTPgDT1L14
Besides continuing to do what you are already doing, try looking at the career sections of local businesses and applying directly to them/through their career pages. I was in a similar situation recently and noticed a lot of companies were apparently hiring, but didn't have listings on job sites.
I have faith that, with this and Duskbloods, they're taking online play more seriously. But still I'm with you in waiting for reviews to confirm that's the case before considering buying it. Network test existing doesn't tell us anything about how the final product performs until the final product is released.
