I have the same issue, also no idea how to fix it.
I did recently discover that touching the joysticks or trackpads is enough to un-dimm the screen again, you don't have to press any buttons and make all the UI elements pop up again.
This launcher looks super cool, does anyone bychance know if it works on FireTVs?
I was ok with the FireTV launcher up until they made it autoplay ads with sound everytime you turn the damn thing on.
I got Stardew Valley, Spirit of the North, Celeste and Dave the Diver. All of them play super well on the Steamdeck, and except for in Spirit of the North the battery lasts forever.
Yooo this reminds me, I think there was an AITA comment on reddit some time ago about a guy who burned down a Pizza place due to putting the entire bee movie script in a message box.
Edit: I believe it was a comment on an Askreddit thread, but a quick google search appears to not be enough to find it
I'd love to try Hogwarts Legacy. I just finished Stray (great game, one of the achievements is a little tricky though) and am now in need of a new "main" game.
Happy Holidays and thanks for the giveaway!
Most of the points never bothered me but I do agree on the last one. Compared to other distros' stock app stores the pop shop isn't great. But I think it should easily be possible to use a different app store app (at least for flatpaks).
Consent-O-Matic is super convenient if you frequently visit new websites or clear your cookies. It will automatically decline all those annoying pop ups!
