  • Yeah and then they enter the workforce and find that everyone uses outlook. Despite all of Google's attempts I don't know any businesses that actually use g suite mostly because Microsoft bundle O365 with everything these days so there's no point business is going out and buying a second licence for software they essentially already have.

  • We're going to have a whole generation of kids pretty soon that are going to be entering the workforce and they're barely going to be able to operate a mouse and keyboard. Although it's not really the Chromebook at fault this started with the damn iPads. Why were schools issuing iPads to students anyway, they have the absolute worst possible UX for note-taking.

  • Anyone who's used AI for more than about 10 minutes knows that it isn't ready to replace human workers yet.

It's always funny when tech companies decide to fire all of their programmers so that they can replace them with AI only to have to rehire them again all of about 2 months later

  • Fuck everything about this, this should be prohibited

Why? Who exactly is being harmed by this? The dead guy, certainly isn't. It's no different than a statement from a family member. The method of delivery does not make a difference to the material content. You're acting as if it's putting words in the mouth of someone who's died but everyone intellectually knows that the AI isn't contacting the dead.

You would have a hard time arguing that someone could be confused into believing that this was actually the opinion of the deceased.

  • When I was in school it was just when all this was starting and people were starting to get used to the internet. There are a lot of websites they thought were inappropriate for children to look at (mostly they were harmless). Anyway if you didn't enter www. in front of the web address, it bypassed all of the site block filters.

  • It's a weird game design. All of the enemies are like little mini bosses and they all have their own weak points you have to target to do any real damage, and unless you know that it just sort of feels like a shooter where the enemies have too much health. Off the top of my head I can't even remember how good they are and actually broadcasting that information, it might very well be only in the tutorial or when you encounter a new type of enemy.

  • Okay so I've skim read the article and two things, one they need to optimise their damn website for tablets, so I can actually read it since half the videos were covering the text, two they don't actually have any revelations, shocking or otherwise, because they are essentially rehashing already available information with essentially no new details being gleaned from the trailer.

It's a toss-up on whether AI wrote this.
