Additionally, the problem isn't that he's not on the "right team" - it's that he's a hateful, dangerous pos that is an actual threat to many citizens and the country at large. But repubs have been screaming the same thing hyperbolically for multiple decades at this point, so now when it's a real issue, it gets swept under the rug as "sore losers". People are so fucking stupid.
Yeah. Lemmy's biggest strength (decentralization) has also shown to be one of it's biggest flaws when micro-managing admins/mods turn their instance into their own personal fiefdom, inflicting their "justice" broadly and without discernment. I've been banned more here in under 2 years than on reddit for over 13, almost exclusively for voting "wrong" according to what feedback I can find, which is a a seriously treacherous practice in communities like these. I have no real sense of loss over it, but I do worry the Lemmy-verse will end up with tons of siloed off instances instead of an interconnected community if it goes on unadressed.
I remember when shut downs were a reason to reach compromise at nearly any cost. Now these shit heels are demanding a shut down because they feel like it.
I've been thinking recently about how the game would feel if you spend the first half of the game as Abby
Ooh. That's a pretty clean fix for my bigger gripes about the game. I nearly put the game down when the second half was revealed. It felt so forced. Still don't love the forced participation in the torture porn at the end, but switching the order of perspectives would def be better.
Re: the ending and Part II - It pissed me of in particular because I specifically went for a leg shot in that scene, and then Joel just goes on a rampage. And then it turns into a big revenge plot in the sequel for the very thing I didn't want to do. It was all very frustrating.
Developing from a pretty, young, "vulnerable" girl that needs saving (even though she's already tough as hell in TW3) into an older (chud translation: "ugly") main protagonist fighting back against the patriarchy has these fools spitting with outrage. Here's hoping CDPR doesn't give them an inch.
Lol. "How dare you give me a comprehensive explanation of specifically what I asked about! Rude!" What is rude is being so shitty to someone that went out of their way to try and help you understand something, acting like it was a personal insult. How selfish and demanding of you.
Jack White was an upholsterer through the nineties. He still does it, so not exactly former, but a small fact I found really interesting.
