  • Since the update to "UI: 0.19.0 BE: 0.19.1-rc.1", pagination for comments seems to be broken? or disabled? @sunaurus@lemm.ee, do you know if this is a lemm.ee thing or a lemmy thing? I don't see other people mentioning this when I looked for an issue.

What I mean: go to https://lemm.ee/c/meta?dataType=Comment&sort=New, and scroll to the bottom. The "Next" button is disabled (and if you edit the html to enable it, pressing it does nothing).

  • These kinds of public errors are almost always a hard drive failure.

  • If you're wondering why Stanwich here is acting weird, it's a common right-wing conspiracy in Canada that these unmarked graves are "unproven" because they were discovered with ground-radar instead of dug up. They won't accept that there were deaths at these schools until they're dug up and the remains positively identified, at which point, one assumes, they'll accept that the attempt at cultural genocide that went on at these schools also had a side effect of mass graves.

  • You don't have to spit on cops and antagonize them to not speak to them or offer them any info.

Wait until you're in a protest with knowledgeable people who have your back to square up against the police.

  • There was a satirical addon back in this day that would change the Firefox name every time you opened it to like WaterHippo or SunJackal to make fun of this.

  • We should improve society somewhat.

  • I use the Spotify data via Every Noise at Once (https://everynoise.com/research.cgi?mode=name&name=) to gather band suggestions, but it is an annoying amount of work compared to having a script that sees all of my music and makes a playlist of 20+ songs using that data for me. Have not found a solution for that.

  • Maybe the admins can check their connection logs and tell us how many accounts (like me) are viewing on desktop versus mobile.

  • This is also why the beehaw defederation from lemmy.world was initially so confusing, because lemmy.world users thought they could still see and comment on beehaw posts and communities: What they were actually seeing was "lemmy.world/c/[community]@beehaw.org", which took some time to desync and still let them post.

Nope, not blocked. There's not actually that many of them, but they were one of the few established communities on Lemmy before the reddit explosion so I think they were disproportionately visible until everyone else started organically out-posting them.

  • Last time I looked at the list, It's mostly an imported list of horrible mastodon/pleroma instances, not Lemmy servers, and seemed reasonable to me. Go take a look at a few.

  • Not that I think it would change the results, just out of curiosity, can you as the admin separate out upvotes/downvotes by lemm.ee accounts versus other servers voting?
