Maybe he's going to quit and take his talents to another company? As a Tesla owner and stockholder I think I'd prefer it.

Floridian here. I prefer the execution idea - it's a better use of tax dollars than paying for lawyers (GOP donors, of course) to argue on behalf of deeply flawed state executives.

Maybe, maybe not. Gaetz has made few friends and many enemies in Washington. They have grudges. They also don't have to worry about the math: there's no way his replacement won't be deep-red GOP. Further, they have recently ejected one of their own despite lack of a criminal conviction - Santos was destroyed by an ethics investigation which gave them cover to vote him out.

Timing will be interesting though - Gaetz will certainly win reelection. Do they pull the trigger now just to have to welcome him back next January?

I look forward to voting against that proposal, if it ever comes up before the shareholders. If he spins off companies to compete against Tesla while still working for it, he'd get sued to pieces.

I think it's too much work to be a plant at this level. He was genuinely running. However, it wasn't going to happen. I think his next move is to show how much of a Trumper he is, hence the endorsement and all the solidarity moves re: state ballots, to try to get Trump's VP pick. Trump will probably take Haley though for the constituency she'd bring (and female VPs are all the rage nowadays).

That will end up as a class action lawsuit with some merit. There will be a race to file this one.

Which is why I'll never subscribe to SiriusXM again. I won't even take it for free. You can sign up for whatever plan you want online, but to cancel you have to call (and it's not 24/7) and listen to ten minutes of "but what if I offered you X service for $ per month? and gave you a month free? Don't you enjoy the service we provide? Let me put my supervisor on the phone so he can try to convince you not to quit us."

I think in California there's a law that if you can sign up online you must be able to cancel online, which pisses me off even more because Sirius could do this for the whole country but they'd rather drag and guilt people to get them to stay.

I wonder how he enjoys prison.
