I've never heard that nickname. In any case, I'm not saying I like Vladimir Putin. I'm not saying I liked Trump. I like the idea of a strong leader who will work with other nations, but not roll over and take shit either.

There's nothing wrong with carrying a big stick, but nowadays everyone has forgotten the first part of Roosevelt's sentence... "Speak softly, but carry a big stick."

In other words, let your actions speak for you.

I want to agree with you without exception, but there are too many variables. People who live in large cities vs rural may have different needs. Think public transport, event venues, digital tickets, etc.

Thanks to this thread, my brain has located a long-suppressed nightmare from childhood and put it up on the big screen.

That 200 ft monster, of which I've only actually seen the bottom half of it's legs (couldn't look upwards?), will resume chasing me through my hometown at exactly the same speed at which I'm running away. Endlessly. Worse than Michael Myers' random appearances.
