Yeah this is a pretty dumb take. If all social media is stealing your info, then they are still all stealing your info. This is not "if everyone has superpowers nobody does," it's just a dipshit thing to say.

How dumb do you have to be? By the time you make that much money you should, in theory, know the answer definitively or have a guy.

That part was unambiguous, and the month comment was clearly a joke; however, the very next line you write "22/7". While you meant division, you accidentally wrote common date separator format, which WAS ambiguous and opened the door for the joke.

Basically all the rest is bunk besides the fact that you can't count on always getting reliable information. Right answers (especially for something that is technical but non-verifiable), wrong reasons.

There are "stochastic language models" I suppose (e.g., click the middle suggestion from your phone after typing the first word to create a message), but something like chatgpt or perplexity or deepseek are not that, beyond using tokenization / word2vect-like setups to make human readable text. These are a lot more like "don't trust everything you read on Wikipedia" than a randomized acid drop response.

This is me too. I have two of them bought and paid for and people just don't get it: I went all in on this and you can just sell for 15% of purchase price, I still have mobility needs. More to the point my swasticar still has access to the best charging network on the market and even if I COULD just sell, it's not cut and dry. It's easy to shit on Tesla, but it's still the best offering in the EV market for long range driving. And even if it was not, like fuck me I can't time travel. Most people who flame have no idea what the actual hell they are talking about.

You don't have to apologize it sucks for us as much or more than it sucks for you.

It's easy to gripe on the Internet for anybody and it's much harder to act. In a country like the US, where do you even start? It is huge, the military has more money than god, and the police force is by and large the little brother of the military but with way less oversight and more dysfunction. You want to stop a city once? Sure, np big deal. You want to bring this country to heel? That takes coordination.

It's really easy to talk if you are in western Europe where your country is the size of one middle of the road US state and you've got 8 months of vacation a year. Same if your country has like 8 cities total because basically 3/4 of your nation/continent is uninhabitable. You do not share the same problems of scale. Period. At all. I could go out tomorrow and get killed for no reason, but what purpose does that serve?
