That’s exactly what got me. I’ve never gotten that feeling before and I got it twice on AVP - once when watching the Highlining experience (when she falls) and once when watching Avatar. My brain knew it was fake but my body reacted as if it was real. When she dropped, especially, I almost instinctively reached out to try and catch her hand.
Yes, the worst thing for them would be not talking about it. This meme is making a negative connotation with it. Apple probably wants people to associate it with positive things. That’s why I don’t think the memes are a guerilla marketing campaign from Apple. I think it’s just people who hate Apple thinking they’re funny.
It’s just like the memes about those wheels or the mouse. There’s no way Apple has anything to do with those so GP’s suspicions that Apple is driving these makes no sense.
I sometimes feel like it’s the opposite. Memes and images of people being stupid while wearing the damn thing make me feel like people are trying to increase the stigma around it to kill it. I mean… this meme is showing the character completely unaware of their situation and doesn’t make the product seem good at all.
Considering that there have now been multiple videos of people driving while wearing the Vision Pro, the reason people are doing it is irrelevant. They're still idiots for doing it.
So you’re just implying that the person filming wasn’t a random passenger on the road that saw this? The whole issue is that the person recording was “in” on it? That’s what you’re getting worked up over?
Because the person is driving and they are wearing the headset while doing so. Even if it was only for the duration of the video and then stopped immediately after recording ended, it is still a monumentally stupid thing to do.
I have yet to watch porn (have tried it on other headsets before and it’s not great) but the other video apps will figure their situations out. I just wanna watch my movies in 3D. I used to have a 3D TV and so I amassed a pretty big collection of movies and I just saw on a whim that The Archive has a video player and it works.
I don’t understand what you mean by “faked scenario”. This person is definitely driving and they definitely have the headset on. What do you mean is “faked” about this? Can you clarify?
This is not entirely true. You can be moving but the headset needs tracking information to keep things stationary. There’s specifically a travel mode for the Vision Pro for using it on subways and planes and things. I’m assuming you’re talking about Casey’s video on the subway. He didn’t know about the travel mode.
Add me to the list. Have never gotten sick from VR. Ever. Passthrough on the Vision Pro doesn’t make me sick. Cooked a meal with the it on. Ran upstairs and down with it on. Refuse to drive with it on.
It’s an AVP Star Trek app. I downloaded it because it has AR models of all the Star Trek ships and then found out it plays SBS 3D videos while trying to watch some of my movie rips on Plex.
There doesn’t need to be. My argument is not bullshit, you just don’t understand the differences between blockchain and a standard database and are pretending you do which makes the argument impossible for you to understand.
