And generally the campaign trail was pro workers rights, the activism history was for workers rights.

So it sounds like teamsters had something else going on? It seems like this thread is reading it wrong.

It's imbecilic to make a comment like this when someone is making it explanation of something else.

I really do not understand this rhetoric. It's illogical.

And I see it applied to all sorts of problems these days. Indicating a serious gap and incredible thinking ability in our society.

It's slow expensive tech because we don't invest in it.

Every technology is slow and expensive when you have nearly an entire generational gap in knowledge and experience.

You'll know that I'm not saying solar and wind are not cheaper, they all exist in a different capacity and fill in the gaps they best fit.

Exactly it's just a piece of paper if it's not actually enforced it means nothing.

Just like all the laws and regulations that are regularly broken and ignored by the rich and have no enforcement.

The law doesn't mean anything anymore if you have enough money and power. And when the law and justice system fail the citizenry it's the citizens job to take the law into their own hands.

The issue isn't really the OS in many cases.

The barrier is getting a battery replacement. Which many devices make exceptionally difficult, to the point where buying a new cheap phone is nearly equivalent in price as paying someone to tear down your phone and rebuild it to swap the battery

Disagree with the first statement. Given that the survival of our species is one reliant on us not only having children but also raising them in a way that improves our world and doesn't make it worse.

The later of course is the Crux of the problem. A society that doesn't encourage parents to be good parents and just shits on them instead is not a society that wants to survive.
