  • Damn, sounds like not much actually going on then. 18gb is manageable though, I'll have a look. Thanks!

  • Yup, same! Our agents don't make themselves "available", they make themselves "free of charge" (gratis)

I'll have to check the reorder one, but that's funny too. Billion dollar company!

  • Localized Office is a big heaping pile of trash. In my language in Teams you need to toggle "Show number" on, to hide showing your number. Make it make sense.

  • Site doesn't load for me and I can't find any other sources yet. Interesting to see what comes out of this, but I won't be downloading 10tb myself to find out, tempting as it may be

  • Thanks! That clears up a lot. Appreciate the paraphrasing too.

You're making assumptions about how they work based on your intuition

Small difference: I made the assumption that the simplified version was exactly how it works, as in, taking the comment at face value.

  • It's starting to make sense, thanks. I'll try to keep scaled to my subscriptions, although I like "All" for the variety.

  • But 0 upvotes divided by any age is still 0. So Hot = 0, and Scaled would then be 0 divided by community size, and therefore also still 0.

On hot, I guess you managed to open it with the exact same second?

It was in response to "Scaled is like Hot", so I wasn't looking at the Hot page at that moment, but I tried to convey how it doesn't make sense that a post with 0 upvotes get to the top of Scaled

  • But these are 3 posts with 0 upvotes that recently have been posted, how is that "Hot", let alone at the top of "Hot"?

  • In other videos that bemoan the current price of eggs, influencers decorate egg-shaped brownies

What the fuck do they think goes in brownies?

  • He addresses this by saying a laptop doesn't allow you to replace components, doesn't have mechanical keyboard and there's no ultra wide support.

The funny thing is, this device he's using doesn't allow you to replace components either. And there are 21:9 laptops and mechanical keyboards available.

Seemed like he's trying to reverse-engineer his way into justifying a use case for it, but just failed.

  • If you like the story, read the book(s)!

  • The two apps I have (Sync and Thunder) already do this when I hit search when on a community, so I guess it's a matter of time.

  • I think it would be counterintuitive to cater to a small percentage of people who 1) didn't see it live and 2) are bothered by knowing the results early.

I think it would be more beneficial for users to take matters into their own hands.

For example, you can create another account and block the Formula 1 and Formuladank communities so you can browse without the risk of getting spoiled by a post going by your feed.

Then when you've seen it, switch back to your main.

  • I agree with the premise of not going on social media when you haven't seen the race yet and don't want to be spoiled.

But, there is a big difference between finding time for three minutes of social media scrolling and watching 90 minutes of cars zooming around.

You can easily get spoiled for scrolling past a post on here that got into your feed.

But yeah, i still agree with the main stance. Don't go on social media if you don't want to be spoiled what the results are going to be. It's really in your own hands.

  • Where are you from? It's mentioned that it only appears in the EU app store

  • I didn't know that, that is awesome. Inscryption is one of the coolest gaming experiences of the last few years. It's right up there with titles like Subnautica and the Outer Wilds for me. Daniel Mullins is a creative lad.
