Technically not the same species though. It was a different population of the same genus that evolved to have the same trait (flightlessness) because their habitat changed back to how it was before. Their extinct relatives are still extinct.
"The researchers argue that psychological manipulation of OPs on this sub is justified because the lack of existing field experiments constitutes an unacceptable gap in the body of knowledge"
They were just convinced the end justified the means. Ethics be damned, there's knowledge to pursue
A recent one is Wanderstop, loved the vibes on that one. If you want to read more I wrote up some demo impressions here: https://lemmy.world/post/26452334
An MMO (that sadly got cancelled) introduced base decay in where, if you hadn't been in your base for a week, it started breaking down. This way, the world cleaned up itself. Was a cool idea
That explains a lot, thanks. I compared the six links and it seems under Biden local law enforcement was involved while the federal response was hands-off, meanwhile Trump issued an executive order targeting international students who protested and ICE is handling arrests.
Do you not see the difference between the federal approach? Or is anything happening under Biden his fault, and the same for Trump?
As a Dutchie I feel this, whenever the feed glitches and it resets, it defaults to Dutch and it's a race to turn it back to the English feed before I cringe at the commentary.
You could try listening to the other English feed, there's nothing like Croft and Brundle imo even though they are very likely to talk a lot about Hamilton and Norris
Would be a great selling point over centralized alternatives too. "take control of your own experience" and all that. Reddit will never be able to achieve that level
You're very right. Blocking when they are being an asshole is just putting your head in the sand. It might feel petty but remember that others are probably also impacted by their shitty behaviour.
Why not? He's the development lead at Bethesda Game Studios who has worked there for 20 years.
