This is terrible, awful! But why? There are multiple reasons I wouldn't eat that, but also they have the Internet there.

I saw an article posted on Facebook yesterday about the five guys burgers and fries price complaints, and it quoted word for word comments I saw on a thread here on Lemmy the day before that.

Not if you can't afford to move. And other people would still live there even if you could. So I'm just advocating and it's slowly working.

You seem to have no idea that there are places with zero options aside from cars right now. I live in such a place. You criticized the statement "I need to drive my car and I need to park it." I do advocate for better but there are no legitimate qualifiers to that statement. I still need to. Period.

Yeah I use the word slide that way. I'm rejecting slide deck as a term. We have to remember veto power when it comes to language.

It's still expensive and you have to have time. I still do it, love to cook. But sometimes I have no choice but frozen or fast food. Saying you don't eat fast food, to me I just see privilege. Not that you said that, but it's in this thread.

Yeah Five Guys is priced higher than almost anywhere else in my area and has been meh when I've gone. In n out doesn't exist here.

No I know that people who study history have different opinions and that you sounded like you had some secret knowledge.

I work with a massive network of food pantries, some larger some smaller. Every grocery store in our area is engaged with it and we receive massive amounts of day old product. I would guess that either your experience was many years ago, or you just worked for a shitty store.

The only people I know who do it are 60s and up and they also do it when it's inappropriate. I would have capitalized all of these words for effect, but fuck that.
