Probably because their crimes paled compared to riots in major cities in the previous few years. How many of the people who took over Seattle are in prison? There was federal property there.
People acted stupid and violently. But I think the "insurrection" language isn't helpful when people on the right are fed stats about it that make that seem like propaganda, especially considering the violent riots in Seattle and other places not that long before. Like only three civilians were found with guns. And there is video of people being peaceably let into buildings.
I'm not saying people shouldn't be prosecuted. They fucked around and found out. Good. But a real right wing insurrection would have more than three guns. I'm expecting this will be removed though, have to control the dialog and making it an insurrection is crucial to the reelection plan! Fuck Republicans but fuck Biden too.
Replying to myself to add, you can also continue to fuck up on random weekends in August, October, November and December as well as a handful of weekdays but not too many and still make this your year!
Dude I take people on wilderness adventures all over the US, but that's only a side gig. I've definitely never seen an EV on rough mountain 4x4 trails though. I'm sure they've gone many of those places but out there they bring generators to recharge. How many superchargers per square mile are there in Wyoming, Montana, South/North Dakota? Hell even Kansas which isn't so remote? Even on major highways where charging is easier to find, I sometimes drive 1200 miles/day. It just isn't ready yet.
It doesn't matter whether or not he helped plan it. He was complicit in weaponizing it against the American people. Obama renewed the legislation and strengthened it. It's all unconstitutional.
I remember paying $0.699/gal in the early 2000s. My fuel taxes are now $0.719/gal so I'll definitely never see that price again. Taxes are high enough. Especially when there are no non-car options available.
I would say more allowed than chosen, unless you accept the idea of "chosen as a judgement". But I'm thinking just maybe you haven't had any experiences that would convince you of the reality of skydaddy. I'm picking up on a subtle vibe
I'm not asserting that the polling is wrong, but I would say that for many people polled it could be misunderstood.
From a Biblical worldview, God can influence leaders. Both who is put into office, and to some extent even change their hearts about situations to control their impacts in the world.
That is to say God can, not that every leader is chosen by God and even less so that every leader is approved by God. Many times God is shown allowing bad leaders as a judgement of the people.
So even among those polled who said they believe he was appointed by God, it doesn't mean all of them thought it was a positive endorsement. I think if God chose him, it's because he's the leader we deserve.
That's true but Biden winning accomplishes the same. No this isn't a both sides argument, it's understanding that many outside nations have invested in dividing our nation politically. The only win would be a 3rd party win and that won't happen in my lifetime.
My problem with most transportation policy is that it usually involves tax penalties. A lot of people can't afford to move to the city. Making cars more expensive as an incentive just creates human suffering in rural areas.
