  • Wanna try some super entertaining pills, or would you prefer a syringe so you can pump entertainment straight into your veins? First round is free, don't you want to be entertained?

  • Separately from that, it drives me mad how warped the idea of "consent" is in Windows (and in tech in general). "Later" is not the opposite of "Yes" goddammit!

Imagine sexual consent was similarly warped: Hey Becky, you wanna have sex? You can only answer "Yes, right now!" or "Maybe later," and I'll keep asking you FOREVER. So, what will it be?

  • Nooooo, but it's all for your security and convenience, see? They know better than you when to turn your device on or off, don't you worry your pretty little head about it one bit! Plus, I bet it also protects the children and prevents terrorism too! Why would you turn your device off, are you like a terrorist pedophile or something? /s

  • Let's put it on the pile of all other war crimes over there, and then just ignore it like all the other ones. Maybe mention them in passing once in a while, but without any real consequences...

The feeling of complete powerlessness when I read news like these makes me so sad. I don't have any hope for that area anymore - I don't think a realisticsolution even exists anymore :(

  • These people only have one book (that most of them haven't even read start to finish) and it's enough for them - anything else is probably blasphemy, satanism and (worst of all) woke...

It's just so sad and scary that even tough we now have access to sum total of human knowledge at our fingertips, and yet people like these, who would drag us all back to middle ages, still exist, and if anything become stronger and stronger...

  • "Cracking the whip is no fun if we can't see the fear in our wage slaves' eyes as we do it, and besides, we want you to experience workplace culture crunch directly and fully, in a crowded office and not a comfort of your own home." - Rockstar executives, probably.

  • Let me tell you about my revolutionary way to prevent athlete's foot! Also, did you know you can prevent testicular cancer with one simple snip step?

  • I think a big factor (maybe even the biggest one) here is that people seem to overwhelmingly be voting AGAINST something/someone instead of FOR something/someone. In the US it's made even worse, because people were brainwashed into believing they only have two choices, so if they're against choice A it automatically means they must vote for choice B, warts and all, because otherwise their vote us "wasted" (which is not even remotely true or accurate, but that's another story).

I don't know if there's a way to even fix it anymore, because the polarization and tribalization of societies went so far it is scary. But hey, Biden supports Israel, so let's vote for Trump instead. Because he will clearly not support Israel, he will immediately stop selling bombs to them and he'll bring peace to the region, right? Sigh...

  • EVERYTHING has risks. People have choked to death on food before - that's not the reason to stop eating. There's a risk the ceiling is going to fall down on your head at any moment, but then if you go outside, there's a risk you might get hit by lightning or a bolt that fell off a Boeing flying above...

That's not a dig at you by the way - it's at people who argue in bad faith asking for 100% guarantees of safety, be it for vaccines or anything else. It is not possible, and people need to comprehend it - in this case the risk is on the level of being hit by lighting, so unless you're afraid of going outside, you shouldnt be afraid of the darn vaccine...

  • Will it come with its own proprietary chat?

  • Wow. Also, the obsession of morons with Punisher is just baffling. It's not a very complicated story at all, and yet all these idiots just completely misunderstand it and proudly wear this mark because Frank Castle is cool and kills people...

Screw the star of david, having a Punisher skull symbol anywere on or close to your damn uniform should be a fireable offense.

  • I'm not hiding anything - I'm just one of those weird people that uninstall apps I think are garbage and don't continue to use them. These issues are clearly important to you, and it seems Chrome ticks every single box for you, while Firefox does not. Fortunately you have a choice, and you can use your preferred browser - nothing wrong about that. I prefer Firefox and uninstalled Chrome, you can do the opposite and we'll both be happy.

  • Cool, fortunately you can just use Chrome if you like it so much - nobody is forcing you to suffer with Firefox - just uninstall it and move on!

  • Yes, betrayal - because the US devolved so much into tribalism, that any critique of "their own", no matter if justified or not, is a betrayal and taboo.

You see, our side can do no wrong and is perfect. It's their side that's wrong, always. We're the good guys, and they're the bad guys - how could Jon betray the only side that's good, noble and completely faultless? That clearly means he's with them and not with us, because nuance is a foreign loan word that we don't need, and everything is black and white!

Fucking sad and depressing - glad I get to look at it from the outside, but still...

  • Sigh, and here I was, thinking Microsoft trying to shove its useless (to me) AI down my throat at every opportunity was annoying... Quo vadis Mozilla, what are you guys doing... :(

  • Same - I was mildly curious to be honest, but not nearly enough to give them my phone number.

  • So they're saying that a very similar fake video calling Mark Zuckerberg a pedophile would be fine too, right?
