  • Too many Latinos who are citizens from birth are still buying the lie that the Administration is only going after the "bad ones" until they get shipped to the Everglades and find out everyone in their tent also thought they were one of the "good ones" until ICE flash-banged their door down,,,,

  • He further found that the Constitution does not give the president the authority to "adopt an alternative immigration system, which supplants the statutes that Congress has enacted and the regulations that the responsible agencies have promulgated."

Yet once this gets to the Supreme Court, they will argue that since the Founders never explicitly prevented the President from making his own alternative immigration system, surely it must be allowed!

  • I think AOC would make for a much better Presidential Candidate in 2036 or 2042, after a term or two in Chuck's Senate seat. (Or maybe even as VP)

But, she is still a good candidate right now, and the next election will be crucial for the country. If 2028 AOC is the best option for Democrats, we should run with it. I would definitely sooner vote for her than the Next One Up for Democrats.

  • The natural-born limitation only applies to the President/VP, there is no such requirement for cabinet positions, Governorship, or Congressional seats.

Now, this guy still has a general election to win, and if he wins, he still has to prove he can do the job. But assuming he does all that, and he's as capable as he says he is, then maybe in a decade New York will have this guy and AOC in the Senate instead of Chuck and Kirstin....

  • In a Fox News interview, Trump said he had a group of "very wealthy people" willing to acquire the platform. "I'll tell you in about two weeks," he teased.

Two weeks is his standard bullshit timeline for when he doesn't want to admit he's got nothing

  • The latest conspiracy theory is about voting machines getting reprogrammed through their uninterruptable power supplies on a national scale because one of the main UPS vendors was bought out by a Trumpy company. That's simply not how these devices work.

Now, I can believe there may have been isolated shenanigans that need to be investigated, but I have a simpler explanation for all that: most Americans are sexist, but are smart enough to not admit it publically. Fewer votes were recorded for Harris than we expected because many people said they would vote for her, but didn't. (And yes, I meant most Americans.)
