  • You are missing out. I love that movie. People call it a train wreck and tbh it kinda of is, but for me, the lynch’s weirdness jibes perfectly with the world that Herbert eventually creates. Tonally it felt right.

  • I think there’s a difference between not knowing the UI and not understanding the tech.

    E.g. in windows, you might not know which button to press to connect to the wifi, but you sure as hell understand that without an internet connection you can browse the web.

    The latter is way more frustrating to deal with. Especially if it’s an older person who straight-up doesn’t want to know how it works.

    I can see myself becoming a member of the former. Hope I never join the latter.

  • The difference is most certainly not small. It's very noticeable. I also love the veggie options, but your position is kind of like saying:

    If there’s one dish where I feel it’s a waste to eat animal meat fusilli, it’s hamburgers pasta. Vegetarian alternatives Spaghetti has come a long way and in a burger pasta dish, they’re often the superior option.
