My untreated ADHD was a huge asset when I worked customer support for an airline. I had tons of customer complements and I was hailed as an example by area management on how to balance corporate costs with getting customers what they want.

I utterly failed managing a team of 15 people doing the exact same job. The multiple competing priorities on any given day often left me in task paralysis.

Now I work in I.T. and my ADHD is an asset again. I complete most days work in 3-5 hours and play video games the rest of the time.

Raspi is overkill. Mine runs off an esp32 using code I wrote in Arduino. The web interface takes up more space than the code. Only reason it's an esp32 instead of an Atmega 328p is the wifi support

• A bunch of pennies
• Coupons for McRibs that are expired gone thanks for this thread

Anyway, I don't know what the admin staffing looks like, or what availability they have. I do think when there's multiple posts from other instances specifically criticizing lemmy.world (including posts detailing post removal etc.) hitting the top of the feed, that 3 days of silence isn't a good look.

A response when the topic was first blowing up and something that either better justifies the mods' actions or justifies actions taken to address mods.

Yes, I'm familiar with the term. I didn't get the impression that the owners were at odds with their neighbors so much as local council. I am not advocating for it to go such, but I'm curious how a court would view it.
