Uh I don't think so. I think China wants to see the us position significantly weakened.

Russia will not cut off China especially with the western sanctions. That would be russia cutting off their nose to spite their face.

It seems China is hoping to weaken us imperialism and it would make sense they would wanna see a Russian Victory. That directly weaken US force projection and put a us proxy on its backfoot.
