I found that real estate ad I mentioned yesterday

I'll have to see if I can find it but I remember seeing one near my place where the person (not sure if agent or owner) was sitting in the bath tub, topless on the bed (facing away). Absolutely bizarre behaviour

I don't think I've seen a more blatant example of main character syndrome than seeing real estate agents putting themselves into videos showing the house they're selling.

And I don't mean talking about the house. They're in the video sitting on the couch or opening the door to enter with all this dramatic music playing, or staring out from the balcony all reflective and stuff.

Good lord.

One more assignment to do and that's another 2 units down. I wanted to get it done this week but I have to wait for the results of my previous assignment which release on Monday to do it because I need to use the feedback I received.

It gives me one week to get it done. It's only 800 words but I like having assignments done with time to spare...just in case so one week is giving me the twitches.

Well that's just horrific.

I usually let this go (since it doesn't happen often) but called someone out on an email exchange between us where my name went from 'Danny' the first 5 or so times to 'Dani' the last two.

Clearly knew my name, since it's everywhere on the emails, so it's either laziness or intent.

"Oops, I dropped it off the 16th floor balcony", it's cracked now.

Yeah, ended up just having to use a connector for them was easy.

Has anyone ever replaced the plastic chain on rollerblinds? I have one here that was broken when I bought the house and looking to finally replace it.

Like the Wish version of rock candy but yeah, sugary razor blades lol.

Work gave me a bag of lollies for R U Ok day and it's mostly those hard lollies that shred your tongue to pieces.

So 'if you are ok, you won't be' is what they're saying.

I've been wanting to share this for a while now, but it is finally confirmed and official.

I am working with Libraries Tasmania to run a short story competition for kids aged 17 and under. Similar to the contest I did with the schools, I approached the library to see if they would like to do something similar and they said yes. It's only being promoted on the west/north-west of Tasmania but it's open to anyone in Tasmania. I hope to expand it statewide next year, especially if it gets a lot of interest.

I'm so excited to see this idea come to fruition. Creative writing is so awesome and I can't wait to see what stories the kids will come up with.

Unfortunately, doesn't really apply to the forum since this is a melbourne sub, but I had to share.

I sure hope so. Even if I don't know about it, as long as it's encouraging reading and writing in kids, that's all the matters. Getting these messages certainly makes my day though.

It's an amazing feeling. One that makes all the work worthwhile.
