Don't you guys know anything? Words have zero meaning anymore. From "literally" to "pov", no one really understands how to use the english language anymore. Trump is a practitioner of the "that's not what I meant" school of communication. GWB had clearer thoughts.

Going out in the media to cry about cancel culture and how you're innocent isn't exactly the behavior of an innocent man. Someone who truly knows they're innocent will clam up, beat the court case, and then declare vindication.

Look up "the wellness to fascism pipeline". Brand is the poster child of someone who had very left leaning politics, became interested in self help and natural living, fell down the anti-vax rabbit hole, and is now a conservative grifter. He realized that he wasn't getting more popular over time doing comedy, so he gravitated towards being a misinformation node.

I'm genuinely confused as to why, knowing that the Conservative/Republican brand has always been to serve big business, deregulating while also lowering taxes for the wealthy while cutting services to working class families, why people en masse would vote for them.

It'll be my ignorance, but how are you allowed to own stock in the company you're on the C-level of? Wouldn't your direct control of the company, and the ability to buy and sell stock, be seen as insider trading?
