Oh make no mistake, his goal is to be the world's first trillionaire within the next 4-years. Why else would he so publicly be going full fascist unless he was ready to fully embrace the concept of "fuck everyone and everything ever to be" money.

I have news for you: he not “busy” with anything past the idea phase. How can you tell? You don’t see news pieces about Boring Company workers being effectively forced into slave labor a la Twitter post-takeover and Tesla during the Model 3 roll-out. He expects everything to run like a startup because it’s the only thing he’s ever remotely “managed” in his life.
Back during the debates over the ACA, I heard a guy call into an NOR show. He claimed to be a former dean of Harvard’s medical school. Way back then he said the easiest way to lower medical costs was to put doctors on salary and get rid of fee for service structures.
TBH, I pulled 2 foreign papers straight out of my butt. My point still stands: if a foreign paper, preferably in a country with strong press protections, publishes it there’s not much Trump can do beyond search for the original leaker (which would happen anyway).
I’ll never wish death on a person. That’s a line I can’t cross and still think of myself as a good person. That said, I have no problem celebrating a terrible person’s death.
Honest grown-up reason is for history’s sake. Today’s answer is we have to chip away at him. I’ve seen a lot of threads asking former Trump voters what he did that crossed a line for them. Keep highlighting the shit he does and people will see it. It’s not the only angle of attack, but it shouldn’t be ignored.
Plus, if you remember his first term, leaks drive him up the wall (leading home to say/do more dumb shit people will hear/see). I think that’s reason enough to wait for him to be in office to leak it. Someone should anonymously send it to a respected foreign news source like Le Monde or Die Welt. Once it’s published, sources like AP and Reuters have to pick it up.
I feel like it still can be. Even if it isn’t released before the inauguration, it would be great if it wound up on something similar to (and less bootlicky than) Wikileaks.
I walked out after part 1 saying, “What did I learn in that movie that I didn’t learn in the first half of the other one?” I mean, the new one is nicer to look at, but the first 2 parts already out cover the 84 version in like 3x the run time!
