Ya the problem I landed in was not anticipating how hard it would be to push my new monitor. Ultra wide 2.5k resolution with 144Hz. I can't do cyberpunk full res more than 60fps, and that's with dlss enabled and not all settings at max.
Ya because so far it doesn't seem to impact the consumer so it works for me lol. Valve has always had great sales too. If they jacked up prices YoY, and did evil things, then I'd welcome competition. But all I see at this point is lousy extra software to install a single game or two. Annoying. Fragmented. Just just media streaming.
I usually change settings, my phone is big. Like depending on the scenario I might change my frame rate on the video or the optical zoom. I find it too difficult with a pixel 6 pro and my hand size. Also I use rotation lock because it's annoying if I'm laying down to have it rotate on me. So then I also need to tap the icon in the lower corner to rotate it, or disable it while I take a video. Lots of mucking about for one hand.
