  • When there's a viable third party candidate, sure.

Otherwise - yes, it is a vote against your own interests. Hi, I'm one of those who pointed out its just a vote for trump in this past election. It was true then, its still true now. You don't start during the presidential election season, or you're just a grifter.

You push for 3rd party in local and state elections and get viable candidates.

Jill Stein is still nothing more than a piece of trash grifter.

  • I think the people who would take off their shoes on public transit are absolutely the kind of folks who will have taken them off in other scenarios, and are far more likely to be contributing to the infestation of seats. Yes.

Edit: Confirmed, lots of gross people on Lemmy with zero consideration for others. PS: I guarantee your feet stink, and yes you taking them out of your shoes to showcase your feet stank for others is not only gross but inconsiderate.

  • Eh, I'd say it picked up, it was already in the news, and the sightings have been spreading and only recently have federal agencies gotten involved.

    Edit: autocorrect aneurysm

  • Completely nonsensical article, like it was written to cater to idiots who think video games cause violence.

I had thought that stupidity was thoroughly smashed years ago, especially with the rise in video game Ayers and decrease in violent crime, but... You know... Stupid finds a way I guess.

  • They are independent franchises - I would absolutely check reviews on any chain I go to.

Which I do, but not McDonalds, because I can't eat anything there. But my point is the same - I have a food allergy, and some chains do a better job of keeping clean and keeping things separated.

So yes, there are entirely reasonable people who do write and read reviews, even for something like a McDonalds.

  • You don't...

    You absolutely....

Even when it's "programmed" it'll still slide a bit short or long & you have to find tune it.

OK yeah fair. Especially if you play with the buttons a lot like trying to press them both at the same time.

  • It could be as simple as he wanted to be found, and his message brought out.

Or it could be something wild.

No way to know yet, but what it doesnt change is the general response from Americans - where it goes from here is the biggest unknown, IMO.
