  • I’m actually wondering how many people are like me and believe in God but feel no more love for God than they do any random things in life.

Exactly! I would probably think more of my cat because to me, god is just some character from a book that may or may not be real.

  • My personal oddities aside, I still disagree. I don’t think worshipping a holy entity is at all the same as loving your pet. Maybe it is for you, but I know I don’t feel commonality between what I feel for my pet dog and what I feel for God.

This is actually a good point because as someone who doesn't really believe in god - or rather, any god that mankind thought up, I definitely don't think the same way of my cat.

  • PNW here, most people don't really greet the driver on the bus but a lot of them do thank the bus driver when leaving the bus so that's interesting.

And yeah, no one is greeting a room full of strangers up here. No way in hell.

  • There’s no set 8-5 M-F schedule like there is when working in an office.

that's why I mentioned the weird schedule they always have. My current one has some shit like Saturday 1 pm to 4 pm and then they don't reopen until Tuesday at noon then are closed again on Wednesday. Like what the fuck.

I never see my landlord doing shit like that. Just show people to new apartments usually.

I work from home and look outside. I see people move in and move out all the time. I rarely see the guy in charge doing anything other than handing over some keys.

  • I think it essentially came down to ad revenue and websites tailoring their content to fit Google’s algorithm.

I use to work for a local pest control company who would legit check google reviews, contact their guy at google ad's and then ask to have the bad reviews removed and the company would pay for that.

  • ohh thank you. I actually fear physical activity cause I was in accident when I was younger that a helmet would not have even prevented but it does give me hope that maybe some day I'll be able to ride a bike or a skateboard without having to worry about what happens to my cranium.
