call me a skeptic but I doubt there is someone here with a million dollar mortgage and multiple cars that's just sitting around, reading lemmy.

I mean, so far we've hated the rich for quite some time now and its not really done much.

How else do you propose to fix a system set up to benefit a certain class, a class which has firmly entrenched itself around the levers of power, without tearing down the whole rotten structure and starting again.

Not them but my idea for changing things includes socially engineering different ideas until they corrupt those in power. That's the only way we can really get to the 1%.

sorry but theme park accidents are fascinating to me.

You should really see the death numbers at the Six Flags parks though. Those places are like a god damn death trap for humans. It's insane how many people get injured or just die on rides.

I saw a long post about this on tumblr and they were saying something like, one person dies a year on the playa at burning man so we shouldn't feel sorry for the one person who died this year.

So dehumanizing. I was reading that whole post in awe of how fucking empty some people are inside. Like holy shit that's cruel.

I had a nice couple of weeks here before the reddit really started to seep in.

I mean, reddit came on over here, didn't it.

Whoa, yeah I never take 10 minutes to look for something to watch. Maybe 2-3 minutes? And that's only if I have a case of being extra indecisive.

After reading through the comments and talking to some other people, it seems the real issue is that people don't know what they want to watch. I already know what I like. So that's some weird advantage I have cause it seems more common that people don't even know what they really like watching.

I often use to describe myself as very picky because I would always want to watch specific things where as other people around me always wanted to just watch whatever was new or out at the time. So I just always have this mindset of, I know what I want to see next.

Also YouTube Tv isn't like YouTube with algorithm. It's more like cable tv. I have tv network channels to choose from and I can set shows to record so its more like when you had cable or satellite back in like 2010.

Everyone says being warm but I only wear them out of comfort. I walk a lot to travel cause I don't own a car and leggings are comfy for walking in. I even wear them during the summer.

Where I live, most people go by gender, not sex.

The person I'm into is very androgynous so there isn't like, a tell tale sign. I don't think they really do anything that's either male or female.
