  • I'm reading "don't let him in" by Lisa Jewel, it's great so far, very intriguing (I also recommend "none of this is true" by the same author)

Last week I read "the road to tender hearts" by Annie Harnett and it was very moving. It touches very hard topics with a splash of humor to make it easier to digest

I also recommend anything by TJ Klune. His books are very wholesome, sometimes I just want an easy reading where everything is solved with hugs and love

  • Wow she looks a lot like my cat down to the small white tips in her rear legs and the missing ear tip. Does she also have a white tip in her tail?

(When we adopted him about a year ago this white spot was smaller like your cat's)

  • I had to get one during covid lockdown since I wasn't going to the office and staples messed up my jobs most of the time (and it wasn't cheap). I got a laser all-in-one and got knock off toner from Amazon and it works great and I got it for less than $90

  • That was me playing Pokemon red. Got it without knowing a bit of English, took me a lot to realize that dialog was important sometimes and it took me several days to figure out how to teach and use the HMs. Later my dad got me the official guide so I could follow the pictures and use a dictionary to figure out some words

  • My PC didn't support boot from CD, so I had to use about 6 WinXP floppies just to load the necessary drives to install from the CD. Good times

I think we also had the Win 95 and 98 installallers somewhere although I learned how to do it when upgrading from 98 to ME

  • That reminds me of 2015 when there was a big flood in Chennai. We were working on a project and the software team was located there. When the floods happened we didn't hear anything from them for a few days. A middle manager sent a very angry email to them complaining that we would not be able to make the milestones if they didn't work during that time and he actually asked us to send an email every few hours asking for updates (we all ignored the order except for one guy)

Thankfully upper management and the CEO office knew better and sent a support email to them and I believe they reprimanded the other manager.

After a few days we learned that some employees actually lost their lives and the office itself was affected and they're were not able to return to work for a few weeks
