Why do you slow down alot? Let alot run free!

That headline is kinda stupid when you think about it. Almost all of the world’s energy system (Ignoring gravity effects) has been solar powered since its existence.

What’s transforming is how humans electrify their gadgets, which you could argue have historically been solar powered as well. That solar energy was just stored in long term batteries.

I didn’t mean to pun but there it is and I’m leaving it. Any way, there is no infinitely small section that’s perpendicular. Only the tangent at a single (infinitely small) point along a smooth curve, as we approach from either direction. Maybe that’s still called perpendicular.

I don’t remember all my geometric rules I guess, but can an arc, intersecting a line, ever truly be a right angle? At no possible length of segment along that arc can you draw a line that’s perpendicular to the first.

Well I hope it’s the only time, because catching it for the second time would be silly. They don’t do catch and release do they?
