My first memory of TV was Gorbachev talking to Thatcher.

It made it a shade easier to overcome OCD - BUT a decade on I feel drowsy, oversleeping, dulled intelligence and creativity, difficult to feel pleasure "driving with the handbrake on" These meds need to have a yearly review factored in - 10+ years of use make it almost impossible to come off (even with good advice and the liquid form (that can taper 1mg change at a time) I had to BEG for in the UK. The standard advice of splitting pills for moving doses means a change far too large to handle (2.5mg is a massive drop). The brain and all its systems get very used to having more serotonin and resist this change with terror, confusion and upset. I'm on 7mg after starting with 10mg then 9, 8... and it gets tougher with each drop (no professional had any advice to give except try to come off in a few weeks :0 ).

Is this a joke? Matrix has 3 terrible sequels.

We have this nightmare in the UK. I'm very fortunate to have a small house just about paying mortgage on a tiny wage, but not really big enough to rent a room. I feel bad for people in their 40s (even couples) who can't afford a starter home because all the properties are locked up in a rental market.

I pray to calm down. I ask for genuine connection with others, the wellbeing of my country, a wife, that my customers at work would enjoy themselves and we would make ends meet. Ask and you will receive.

Definitely making progress this year but it's been a slow road to 40. Friends with a common interest, that's finally coming about.

Jury duty wasn't fun (child abuse case), but it was one hell of an education. I'm still greatful to have had such smart fellow jurors so we could really consider everything. You get to see how the world works.

Our railways are fucked, our healthcare system is hanging by a thread. I'm so grateful for NHS care and investigations in the last year - dread to think how much Americans would have to pay to find out they have a shitty disease, let alone treat it.
