Is there any chance that shit was rigged this time around? As an outsider it's honestly just crazy to me that the difference can be so huge, almost unimaginable.
It depends on the country you're in I guess but I would say that generally speaking the EU right wing parties are a bit less extreme than Trump appears to be going to be this time around. I don't know of any EU countries where they are planning to get rid of all immigrants among other things. Tbh, the person you can compare Trump to most is Hitler. And he has compared himself to Hitler too, which makes it even more crazy.
I recently learned about the great auk, it's so sad that they no longer exist. Humans really suck, so many species went extinct because of us. And in this case it wasn't even necessary for survival, they just killed a ton of them for their feathers to make fancier pillows (and other stuff) but they weren't eaten I believe...
It's kinda crazy that the descendants of people that potentially lived through the holocaust are now calling the shots and basically committing their own genocide. It's only been about 80 years since WW2, how are we here again?
They also very much had the advantage of knowing their terrain and both Hitler and Napoleon got cocky and kept going during winter time without being prepared for it. Hitler especially was actually making good progress until winter hit so you could almost even say that Russia took a calculated risk (even though I think it's more of a "got lucky" situation).
I can see the benefits of AI in certain fields of work but why would you want it to take over in the creative industry? Isn't tapping into your own creativity the fun part?
