  • That AI would prolly be based af. Might be an asshole from the trolling we do for the "venting".... I'm thinking of a teenager with class consciousness, marx with acne and memes or some such.

  • I have ecured saved in kiwix so I can still view it when the website is down. My Spanish is really not that great but I do enjoy seeing the different perspectives.

I live in the US south and I can easily pick up radio Havana Cuba on shortwave most days and that's pretty cool too. I've even written into the station a few times

  • I was able to fix my account on a different instance because I was still logged in on a browser. Once you save the "enable 2fa" button press it's on, and I couldn't turn it off. I had to reload the page and it showed the set up 2fa button, but instead of it doing something when I clicked on it, it has the exact link that my password manager needed to generate the 2fa and my browser doesn't know what to do with it. I just copied the link and pasted it into my password manager where you usually scan a QR? It generates the codes correctly now and I was able to log in on other apps and devices.

As long as you have a browser that's logged into the instance, you can regain ability to log things in, just in my experience.

If I'm understanding correctly it's affecting all lemmy instances.

  • I recently retired my hand me down gaming PC because of overheating problems and cannibalized it to build up another SFF PC I got. I have a new graphics card coming (certainly not a recently released card) so I can play some of the games I like to play so I'll be back on PC gaming soon. It's a dual boot setup and the main reason I keep windows is for ham radio programs and fallout 🥴
