Yeah it's great! I've started it a few times but recently got an analogue pocket and am trying to finish a lot of those older games I've never finished. I think I'm about half way through world 4 now. Still deciding if I want to try and 100% every level to get the bonus levels haha

I don't want to get too ban happy on any site we think may be primarily AI generated. GamesCensor was pretty easy for me to tell, especially with the misquotes. Idk if there are any reliable tools out there for detecting stuff like this, but I'm keeping my eyes peeled.

I mean personally I wouldn't want to game like that on my phone, as it will almost certainly kill the battery and I need my phone for.... well phone things.

But I don't really see why it being $60 is at all weird. It's a $60 AAA game everywhere else too. Same game as it is there.

Edit: and it also unlocks the game on m1 or newer iPads and macOS devices... really not seeing why this is so egregious. It's $60 on steam too

I see what you're saying. I do agree that people should have the opportunity to be educated to at least a baseline understanding of some things. If for nothing else but to avoid being scammed.

I mean ideally I would just like these companies to be held responsible for doing shady stuff behind the scenes, I don't think having easy to understand UIs (and as a result, a bit obfuscated from what's actually happening) and such have to be a bad thing. But maybe it's too idealistic to want that and expect companies to actually be held accountable if the obfuscation is hiding bad stuff

This seems needlessly gatekeepy to me. Are you saying everyone using technology needs to learn exactly how it all works? People aren't allowed to just use the tools provided to them? Like are cameras worse now that you can just point and shoot vs having to go through many steps for the photo to maybe turn out ok?

Second game definitely had way too many issues to be released when it did. And it's still not in a good state on PC. But I had a good time with it, and thought it was a big step up from the first game in every way except performance. Hoping the 3rd game doesn't have the same issues

Tbh it's been bad.

My partner got a job in Seattle, which has been the plan. I am from there and we have been wanting to move back. I was hoping to keep my job when I moved there as it's fully remote, although pretty California specific. Before I went on my 2 week trip, I was told, yes I could keep my job. I was so thrilled. Kept thinking about how excited I was to finally be moving back after all these years.

First day back from the trip. Oh oops, nevermind, I don't get to keep it. So now I'm in a position of, find a new job as fast as possible or else I'm stuck down here by myself for who knows how long. And I feel like I can't even do anything to start this process, as I am still waiting for the surgeon I'm seeing for bottom surgery to call me and schedule. It's been a month since insurance approved the procedure, but crickets from the clinic. Idk how I can really apply for jobs when my surgery could come at any time and postpone me starting the job. And it's on my current works insurance so....

On top of it all, dysphoria is at an all time high. Misgendering has never been fun for me, but I've often been able to shrug it off. During my trip I was getting misgendered like 30-50 times a day. It wore me out so much. Just a general feeling of fuck recently.

Oh and I just got covid.
