  • I used to work on weekends so Friday had lost its luster. But I'm at a different job now and all my weekends are off again, so yes, I love Fridays. Even if sometimes I have homework or projects to work on since I've gone back to school (I'm in my 40s), I still look forward to having a couple of days to sleep in and mostly do nothing.

  • I love snuggles and movies with my husband. If you guys enjoy dark, violent, and mysterious, we watched Black Death on a whim tonight and enjoyed it a lot. The movie really surprised both of us.

  • Listening to a podcast and playing Dorfromantik. Also putting off doing dishes.

  • I haven't finished my Andromeda playthrough, probably about halfway through, but I've enjoyed what I've played so far.

  • My anaconda don't want none

    Unless you got buns hon

  • Never worked as a checkout person but that's how I do it too. Seems just common sense to me. But of course there are some baggers who don't have a clue and will put the soft stuff in one bag but then place it in the cart with something heavy on top of it.

  • OP can do their own research, as I have. Or take your word for it.

  • Many end-consumers and dietitians disagree with you.

  • I've been drinking a Soylent shake for lunch at work for probably two years now. It's very convenient, nutritious, and you can have it at room temp or chilled. If you buy it by the case, that amounts to a cheap and healthy lunch. Yes, I find it quite filling.

Edit: Also it comes in different flavors. The ones I remember are strawberry (my favorite), vanilla, chocolate, banana, and mint chocolate. They also have high-protein and caffeinated varieties.

Another edit to clarify my own experience: I've been drinking the shakes for lunch for about 2 years but I've been enjoying Soylent for longer than that. I've included a scoop of the powder in my breakfast for the past 10 years. My doctor is quite happy with my health and my last blood work results (June '23). I only share this because someone has a problem with my suggestion of Soylent and claims it's not good for you. So there is my own experience, for what it's worth. YMMV.

  • On the subject of burgers, I make sliders using ground beef with chopped garlic and onions, Worcestershire sauce, and peanut butter. Pretty sure I got the recipe from somewhere. I use King's Hawaiian bread rolls for the buns and it's absolutely delicious.

  • I've recently become a fan of Roy Diblik's garden designs. He uses plants that grow well together, and he plants them densely so weeds are naturally suppressed. The result is a very low-maintenance garden that looks like a Monet painting, and even in fall the layers of "dead" plants provide visual interest.

  • After enjoying a few 60-degree days, we are currently experiencing our second winter. It snowed yesterday.

  • My recorded search history is so boring. If I have to search for anything sketchy or where I wouldn't want to be inundated with ads related to the search, I do it incognito so the search isn't stored.

  • My full name is the same as that of a comic book character in an obscure comic book. I don't have any major social media accounts, so most of the results that come up are of that character.

  • Here's our Sir Kitty (RIP 2004-2020) who also had a bunch of teeth removed. Without his upper teeth, his upper lip would sometimes get caught in his lower tooth. When that happened, we called him "our little orcling."

  • I use a short passphrase that I made up that only I and my husband know. It consists of numbers, a special character, a word, and more numbers.

Then whatever I'm logging in to, my password consists of something relevant to the thing, with my passphrase appended to it.

  • I bought We Were Here Too and Assassin's Creed: Valhalla.
