Regulated doesn't mean they control all VPNs, it means they usually have laws requiring any use of VPN to be licensed, and usually is allowed for businesses rather than individuals. They also block via their firewall many providers. Of course, you could always use one illegally as long as traffic isn't blocked. Just don't get caught.

I like sunlight but I work on a computer. The light from the window hurts my eyes while looking at the screen. So my blinds are only open when I'm not working or entertaining myself at my computer, and if that's the case I usually am in another room, outside, etc.

Yes, using ivermectin as an unproven cure for covid is a bad idea, but no need to mock it with horse paste. Lots if rural and poor areas will use ivermectin from vet or farm supply shops and it is still useful in killing what it's meant to kill, such as those parasites that cause blindness in river water.
Rural places often don things that seem strange other places, and carrying out euthanasia yourself may be necessary or common in farming areas with little access to the same facilities urban and suburban people enjoy. It's probably easier on the mind of farm owners as they deal with animal death more often, and since even pets may end up seriously harmed by wild predators mercy killing probably happens too.
I have a shellfish allergy and I rag on me all the time. The one that really sucked was developing an egg allergy. I love eggs (and before someone suggests duck eggs, they were the initial trigger. I was probably somewhat intolerant before because they gave me heartburn and some digestion issues, but 3 duck eggs caused projectile vomit, and I haven't been able to eat eggs since).
I don't think it's where you came from but whether you're a citizen and most importantly if the government can apply regulations and or investigate(and maybe somewhat control) your company. I think Elon qualifies there, though he seems to break rules all the time so I really wish they would.
I've never met a vegan in real life who is annoying (about veganism. Maybe about other things...) Most of them it even takes a while to find out they're vegan. Several bosses I only found out because a team lunch. Several others I only found out because I befriended them at work and after months of talking to them it finally came up one way or another. Never even be criticized by them, and likewise, I've never criticized them (in general I have very few issues with veganism. Maybe I disagree with them on honey bees, and not even sure that's all vegans. Oh, and perhaps the belief that one cannot love any animal if they eat meat, but its not a topic i wish to agrue so I dont bother engaging anyway.)
Online you may have someone being more abolitionist or mutant about veganism, but even them it's hardly an issue unless you go into vegan spaces or are commenting about certain things like that dolphin shooting, and even then it's not really mostly on the level of whataboutism and being really extreme and preachy.
Absolutely. I think part of the draw of reality TV is seeing people who are a bigger mess than we are (personally I don't watch it, but the theme is consistent in comedy and sitcoms, Futurama, Family Guy, Simpsons all have kinda stupid protags to make it easier to relate/laugh at because they aren't better than the general viewer). I could see an alien species laughing about how dumb humans are.
