My grandparents are/were catholic, but I've turned them into hardcore communists, and my despite me being atheist, my grandma thinks that alot of communist ideals are far more inline with Christ's teachings than anything the Church preaches

I highly doubt that the western media will even criticize Austria because of this. They'll likely just slander him as a Russian bot or Hamas sympathizer or some racist shit.

He may have looked bad when he got home, but even top medical examiners have defended the DPRK, and claim the DPRK did everything they could to save Warmbier/nurse him back to health or mitigate his symptoms, even when they didn't even have to.

I have extreme doubts that DPRK citizens get any major punishment for consuming western media at all.

I won't pretend or exaggerate the DPRK's tolerance of LGBTQIA rights, from what I've seen and read from LGBTQIA individuals who have traveled to and written about their experiences, they almost all say that the country/people are surprisingly very accepting. I read an article recently about a polyamorous non-binary/bisexual woman in the DPRK who was accepted by their village and was the life of the party.

I understand what you are getting at, but I don't think Venezuela eschews Marxism or class struggle, at least.

Despite their pronouncements, I'm not sure if Chavez or Maduro actually believe in Democratic Socialism, or that their productive and militarized forces aren't sufficient enough to challenge the Venezuelan bourgeoisie and criminal elements.

Hugo Chavez and Maduro have praised Marxism and Marx IIRC, but they've also both said I think that they aren't absolutely committed to Marxism, but that socialism is a long-term goal.
