  • Should‘ve ringed up someone from Rockstar in the dead of the night and then quote them, „We asked Rockstar to comment and a spokesperson responded ‚Wha… Who are… Do you know what fucking time it is?‘“

  • Just Cause 2. The grind is pretty insane but it‘s a fun game with some quirks. I legit think the game would‘ve profited if it was only half as big lol

It‘s an old game and has issues on modern PCs, if you experience crashes (very likely), then do some or all of the following: Avoid the skull island in the middle of the map, enable Win 7 compatability mode, run as admin, turn decals and bokeh off in the graphics options. I‘d also suggest installing a hookshot mod that raises the distance you can hook to, otherwise getting anywhere on the stupidly huge map is gonna be a pain.

  • I really liked Jack as a DM. I hope he‘ll do a DnD podcast; his improv skills, voice acting, and open-mindedness to his players’ „bullshittery“ really would make for an exceptionally enjoyable podcast. And Yahtzee‘s humor also helped. The animations were great, but I don‘t think a voice only podcast would hurt and easens the production burden. I wonder how hard they could just pick up where they left off with AIN without infringing on IPs.

  • I agree so much on Forza 5, it‘s my first Forza and driving through the wasteland that is the part of Mexico they decided to largely use is… boring. Which is a shame cause the graphics, car selection, and driving is top tier. The Crew piqued my interest cause it‘s on Hawaii which sounds immediately more interesting lol, but I think it‘s overall a qualitatively worse game from the looks of it.

  • I played Turmoil which is honestly pretty fun but nothing mindblowing.

I‘ve also finished Supraland which is also recommendable but I wished the dev would have actual useful pointers where to go and what to do next, I‘ve been lost walking around for an hour until I just gave up and checked out a guide on where to go multiple times. Especially when you put it down and come back to it a couple weeks later you‘re doomed lol

Shoutout to Lovely Planet which is an entertaining speedrun FPS that doesn‘t look like much but for sure surprised me. Final shoutout to Pineapple on Pizza which is a ten minute f2p game with a wholesome ending

  • Surprising how this is actually mildly unpopular, but I agree with you! You just get a more convenient and better experience (relative to the investment, I mean) from consoles nowadays, and you can resell the games if you bought a physical copy. I don‘t think PC gaming is dead, but consoles have the edge for now. Personally, I have a PC and a Switch, haven‘t had a „big“ console since the PS2 but I agree.

  • Have three unpopular opinions:

    1. Bethesda games are insanely overrated and absolutely carried by the modding community. Do I enjoy Skyrim? Hell yeah! …With 500 mods.
    2. Everything below 50-60 FPS is stuttery, unsmoooth, and unenjoyable no matter the genre.
    3. There‘s a place and time for „Ubisoft formula“ games (aka. tick off 500 icons on a map), cause sometimes I don‘t wanna think, I just wanna mindlessly walk around with semi-purpose and do stuff.

    I love unpopular opinions.

  • I am and I am using a DLSS mod and it‘s working. But getting to a stable 60 in Starfield is just… If it looked like Cyberpunk raytraced then I‘d get it, but it really does not look like it should be a heavy hitter. I smell technical failings.
