Perhaps not a native English speaker? I'm not sure if OP edited the title, but it seems readable to me, with only a minor typo ("coulc" instead of "could"), and "artist" instead of "artists' ". Of course, "which artists would you choose?" may be a better way to phrase the question itself.
"If you where stuck on a deserted island and coulc only listen to 4 artist music, who would you choose?" is not that hard to read. I have not seem their replies, though.
i usually use (compose key + --. (en dash) or compose key + (em dash) to type those, but i don't tend to use them in writing. instead, i use en dashes for number ranges (e.g.: 3–4, 10–20) to avoid it being confused with subtraction.
