Hell, there was a restaurant in DC that had the name, "Russian" in it and it was vandalized when Russia first invaded Ukraine.

I haven't used budgeting tools recently, but there was one called Emma I think, they're based out of the UK. And I think there was one called TrueBill though I never used them myself.

+1 for Pop_OS. They also have a version with Nvidia driver support out of the box. Their UI is also a fantastic edited version of GNOME, so it's sleek and easy to use
