It's soul crushing at this point to see how effectively a bad actor can fuck up the US. A carnival barker is nominating arsonists and telling everyone the bonfire is going to be amazing and loved by all, and instead of giving consideration to what the fuel for the bonfire will be, the half of the Senate comprised of arsonists and pyromaniacs has decided the bonfire must be funded at all costs and should be the biggest bonfire ever.

I fucking hate this. Fuck fascists.

This is the baseline standard we should be expecting in these trying times. Extenuating circumstances call for extenuating measures, and our representatives need to start showing up for the job in visible and historic ways just like this. Set the standard and hold the line. Fascists are not honest negotiators.

Exactly, it's instinct for him. The planners are all the people around him, and they are pushing their plans (see Project 2025, for example), but for Trump all the stuff he says and does is automatic. That's my read, anyway.
